The Family Center: For Families Affected by Parental Illness
Home » Programs » Research
Research

The Family Center maintains its longstanding commitment to producing new, innovative research on the needs of families affected by terminal illness, and to evaluating the effectiveness of program interventions designed for these families. We have conducted two large-scale studies funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. In addition, we have built a sizable database on the psychosocial and behavioral outcomes of several of our programs. Our research has been published in peer review and non-peer review journals, and has been presented at national and international conferences.
