On Saturday, June 22nd, over 70 Family Center clients and more than 20 Credit Suisse employee volunteers gathered in Central Park to play softball, fly kites, paint faces and have a great time picnicking at this annual event. For the 8th year, Credit Suisse employee and long-time Family Center volunteer Tony O’Callaghan brought softballs, bats and bases –not to mention yummy picnic food and exciting arts & crafts– to Central Park so that Family Center client families and their children can have a fun day outdoors. Also a Credit Suisse employee, Family Center Board member Lyle Monteserrato joined the fun with his co-workers and fellow volunteers.
For years, Lyle and Tony have been working together –not only at Credit Suisse, but also on behalf of The Family Center and our client families. As Lyle has served on the Leadership Council and now our Board of Directors, Tony has tirelessly hosted the Softball Game & Picnic year after year, while also serving as Santa during the holiday season. Earlier this year, Lyle and Tony received an award from the Credit Suisse Americas Foundation for their outstanding service to our agency.
The Family Center remains grateful for Lyle, Tony, and all Credit Suisse employee volunteers. We are honored to partner with a firm so incredibly dedicated to community service, and delighted that Credit Suisse acknowledges this service. Lyle and Tony have always been award-winners in The Family Center’s book!
