The Family Center’s June 29th Picnic is currently scheduled to take place at:
Herbert Von King Park in Brooklyn.
The Park is located at 670 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11216. The Family Center’s event will be near the entrance to the Park closest to the corner of Lafayette and Marcy Avenues. Our staff will be wearing green polo T-shirts with our logo on them in white.
The Family Center always prioritizes health and safety. We will have KN95 masks on hand, and plan to modify some games and activities to reduce the need for physical exertion. We encourage all client families and volunteers to evaluate their unique health needs and make decisions about their involvement accordingly. Having recently emerged from the isolation of the Covid-19 pandemic, we understand that many community members need to prioritize their mental health and social connections. A gathering like today’s picnic presents the perfect opportunity to restore those connections and allow Family Center children to enjoy summer. We hope you can join us!
