Thanksgiving for All — It’s the Brooklyn Way

Join The Family Center for a free soul-food feast that celebrates community and connection.

Sharing a Meal, Strengthening Our Community

Brooklyn always takes care of its own—and the holidays are no exception. This Thanksgiving, The Family Center is proud to once again host Thanksgiving for All, bringing our borough together to celebrate community and share in the joy of the season.

Event Details: Come as you are!

Date Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving Day!)
Time 11 AM–2 PM
Location John Wesley United Methodist Church (260 Quincy St., Brooklyn, NY 11216)

Everybody is welcome to join us for an unforgettable meal and community experience.

The Soul Food Feast

Nothing brings people together like good food—and company. We are excited to serve a delicious soul food feast, complete with all the fixings: turkey seasoned just right, jerk chicken reminiscent of the islands, macaroni and cheese, rice and peas, sweet potato pie, and more to fill your plate and your heart!

Make a Difference: Support & Share

In 2024, more than 800 New Yorkers joined The Family Center’s Thanksgiving celebration, but the need for support continues to grow. This year, with the cost of living and food insecurity on the rise, coming together takes on an even deeper meaning.

Support Our Mission

Need goes beyond a single meal. Many of our clients live below the poverty line, and food support is critical to helping them stay healthy and secure.
