Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC)
New Yorkers, who come to The Family Center for expert services, are confronting crisis or loss. However, they possess many strengths. The Family Center Consumer Advisory Committee exemplifies the strengths of our clients.
This unique group of agency clients provides ongoing feedback on our programs and services, and their impact on clients’ lives. These strong advocates -or “CAC” members, as they are known- honor us with their service and dedication to continuous quality improvement at The Family Center.

Youth Advisory Board (YAB)
The Youth Advisory Board is comprised of teens who receive services in our various programs. Like the CAC, the "YAB" informs teen and youth programming at The Family Center.
YAB members were the first to recommend that The Family Center send out care packages to client families during the COVID-19 crisis. We are grateful for their insights into emerging needs in their families and communities!
