The Family Center recently experienced an exciting, yet bittersweet, leadership change. Shamoun Afram (pictured above left), who served on our Board since 2011, and as Board Chair since 2015, stepped down from The Family Center Board of Directors. While we will miss Shamoun, we are excited to announce that Joel M. Field, III (pictured above right) will ascend to the role of Board Chair. Joel has served on The Family Center Board since 2014 and became Vice Chair in 2017. Since joining our Board, Joel has already raised over $80,000 to support our work keeping vulnerable families stronger, longer.
The Family Center is deeply thankful for Shamoun's past service and leadership, and for Joel's willingness to step forward and serve as our new Board Chair!
