TFC and the LC hosted our second annual client family Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday, November 19th. A dozen families enjoyed a dinner of turkey, dressing, and all the trimmings, thanks to the donations raised through the LC’s Thanksgiving fundraising campaign. Before starting their meals, families completed art & crafts such as thankfulness trees and colorful turkeys.
Purchasing food and gifts during the holidays can be tremendously difficult for our families who live on limited, or fixed, incomes. To help alleviate some of the stress, each family left the event with a bag of groceries, thanks to generous employee contributions collected by the Winged Keel Group.
