“Going once…going twice…sold!”
Hundreds of Family Center supporters enjoyed food, drinks, dancing and the highlight of the night, a live date auction, at the Leadership Council’s Bids for Kids event on November 18.
This year’s crowd grooved to the tunes of DJ VNA and laughed along with MC and comedienne Alene Latimer as she introduced the volunteer dates who braved the crowd to help raise money for children and families at The Family Center.
From impromptu robot dancing from one of the dates to a surprise out-of-town bidder who doubled last year’s highest bid, attendees enjoyed a fun-filled night of supporting The Family Center. We are truly thankful to everyone who helped make this event a success.
If you did not have an opportunity to contribute at Bids for Kids, but would like to support The Family Center’s work, take action now to ensure that more NYC families stay stronger for longer.
