Family Center Client Featured in New York Times

The Family Center could not be prouder of each and every one of our grandparent caregivers -those mature New Yorkers, who have stepped up to the plate to care for their grandchildren, long after they have finished raising their own children. We are honored to work with them, share in their triumphs, and address their challenges with our expert services.

Sandra Parker is one New York grandmother of whom we are very proud. On January 24th, Ms. Parker was featured in the New York Times. Her heroic raising of five grandchildren on her own is central to our work with her beautiful family. We are thrilled that Ms Parker and her grandchildren have joined The Family Center community!

The Family Center is grateful to the New York State Office of Children and Family Services for funding our work with grandparents and other caregivers raising children not biologically theirs.
