On Thursday, December 12th, The Family Center was honored to host volunteers from the MAC AIDS Fund at our new Brooklyn office.

With a mission to serve people of all ages, races and sexes affected by HIV/AIDS, the MAC AIDS Fund has generously sent dedicated volunteers to The Family Center for several years in a row.  Their volunteer service not only commemorates World AIDS Day on December 1st of each year, but also celebrates The Family Center’s nearly twenty years of work strengthening families impacted by the virus.

As always, MAC AIDS Fund volunteers created elaborate holiday decorations, including a backdrop to be used for pictures with Santa, when ‘jolly old St. Nick’ makes his annual trip to The Family Center.  Our children can’t wait!
