The Family Center is delighted to announce that our Board member Alatheia Pena was one of four breast cancer survivors chosen from around the country by Susan G Komen for the Cure to be featured in their new public service announcements online and in print. Alantheia has benefited from The Family Center’s services for breast cancer survivors, their children and families. Since 2002, Susan G Komen for the Cure Greater NYC has generously funded these services at The Family Center.
Everyone at The Family Center remains grateful for Komen Greater NYC’s support and we are, of course, bursting with pride at Alantheia and her beautiful, indomitable spirit!
