The Family Center has been officially designated an Essential Business Entity by the NYS Governor's Executive Order on COVID-19. We continue to serve client families and children via audio/ video sessions in order to keep our community healthy and safe. However, this necessary social distancing is extremely isolating for client families, who already struggle with intergenerational mental health challenges and past traumas.
You can directly alleviate this isolation:
- Donate today to support The Family Center's rising technology expenses, as we continue serving client families and their children remotely. Remote audio/ video sessions include therapy, legal consultations, psychiatric care and more.
- Donate now to support our fund to purchase and send care packages to families. Including everything from food to household essentials and board games, these care packages will bring families together and help reduce the isolation they feel.
