The Family Center is offering a free 10-week support program starting February 27th for children and their parents/caregivers who have lost a loved one. Individual and family counseling are also available at the same site. Register today!
- Who is invited? Children ages 5 – 17 and parent/caregivers
- When will groups meet? 5-7pm on Thursday evenings, Feb. 27 – May 8
- Where will groups meet? The Family Center’s new Bedford-Stuyvesant office at 493 Nostrand Avenue, on the corner of Fulton Street
- What will we do? Children and caregivers meet separately. Kids make art, play games and talk. Adults explore their grief and how to help their children. Families learn that they are not alone.
