TFC mothers and staff proudly displaying their craft kit projects with Miranda
On Tuesday, April 21st, NYC designer, student and long-time TFC supporter Miranda Nash tested her thesis project at The Family Center. And what better place to host such a focus group?! Miranda has created craft kits for people, who have been exposed to trauma, so that they can engage in an enjoyable and self-soothing activity that’s low-impact and a lot of fun. Of course, Family Center mothers and grandmothers were delighted to explore the activities offered by Miranda’s craft kits, which included everything from embroidery to yarn flowers.
