Lisa is a 13 year old girl who resides with her mother who has a medical condition which limits the activities she can do with her daughter. Lisa has been matched with her mentor Melissa for one year. Throughout the year they have enjoyed going to the movies, apple picking, baking and having conversations while out for lunch. Lisa plays softball for her school team and Melissa has attended several of her games. Together they have decided to develop a scrapbook with pictures and remarks about their outings. Both Melissa and Lisa have decided to continue their mentor/mentee relationship and look forward to having many more outings in the year to come.
