The Family Center is always happy to welcome newcomers to our family, and NYC-based author Susan Rabinowitz recently honored us by joining the ranks of our supporters. On Friday, July 30th, Susan hosted a beautiful book release and signing event at the American Legion Hall in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. Her book, No Evidence of Disease, recounts her struggles with serious illness and cancer. A mother of five, Susan knows first-hand how difficult it can be to raise children while living with a life-threatening illness. This understanding helped Susan connect on a personal level with The Family Center’s mission to help vulnerable children with ill parents. She has generously decided to donate a portion of the proceeds from her book sales to The Family Center! Thank you, Susan!
