The Family Center has been designated a NYS Center of Expertise for HIV & Older Adults and a NYS Center of Expertise for Hepatitis C & HIV.
Thanks to a grant from the NYS Department of Health AIDS Institute, we are proud to share our expertise with our community and NYS in these specialized areas of care. As a Center of Expertise, The Family Center will be providing training, both virtual and in-person, to the nonmedical health and human services workforce throughout NYS. The work also involves some technical assistance assignments through which we could help train a hospital upstate, for example, in these areas of our expertise.
